Turn old question papers into online tests with AI
Webodhi converts scanned question papers and PDFs into editable online tests. Its AI reads each question with its options, answer and worked solution, crops diagrams out of the scan, writes equations as LaTeX, and tags every question by subject, chapter, topic, grade and difficulty. Teachers review the drafts, then publish them to their college's private question bank and use them in any test.
What you can upload
- PDF files and images (JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF), up to 50 MB per file.
- Photos of printed papers taken on a phone, uploaded as images.
- Drop, paste or choose files, then pick the pages to process.
- Answer-key and solution pages, which are used to fill in the correct answers.
What the AI extracts
- Question text and every option.
- The correct answer, with numerical answers cleaned into a usable value.
- The explanation or worked solution, when the paper has one.
- Diagrams, cropped straight from the scan.
- Equations and formulae, written as LaTeX and checked for errors.
How each question is tagged
Every question is tagged to subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology), chapter and topic from the Grade 11 and 12 syllabus, grade, and difficulty (Easy, Medium or Hard). Difficulty follows exam-specific guidance for JEE Main, NEET and KCET, so a "hard" KCET question and a "hard" JEE question mean what your teachers expect.
Nothing is published until a teacher checks it
A history screen keeps every digitising job, so a teacher can check progress, resume or restart a paper later.
- Upload the paper and choose the pages.
- Webodhi digitises the pages into drafts, never straight into the bank.
- A teacher reviews the text, answers and cropped diagrams, and removes logos or watermarks caught in the crop.
- Approved questions are published to your college's private question bank.
- Build an online, offline or OMR test from them, or print a question paper with an answer key.
What it costs
Digitising uses AI credits: 1 credit digitises 1 page. On the pay-per-exam Starter plan a page costs ₹5. Packages include monthly credits (Growth: 75 AI credits a month; Scale: 200 AI credits a month; Enterprise: 200 AI credits a month plus 10 for every 100 extra students), and extra credits can be bought at any time. Pages that produce no questions are not charged.
Questions and answers
Can Webodhi convert a PDF question paper into an online test?
Yes. Upload the PDF, pick the pages, and Webodhi's AI extracts each question with its options, answer, solution and diagrams, and tags it by chapter, topic, grade and difficulty. After a teacher reviews the drafts, the questions can be used in an online test straight away.
Does it work with photos of question papers taken on a phone?
Yes. Upload the photos as JPEG, PNG or WebP images. Straight, well-lit photos give the best results, and every question is reviewed before it is published.
How much does it cost to digitise a question paper?
1 AI credit digitises 1 page. On the Starter plan a page costs ₹5 plus GST; packages include monthly credits. Pages that produce no questions are free.
