Online exams that survive crashes, drop-outs and tab switching

Webodhi runs online mock tests on laptops, desktops, Android phones and iPhones through an installable web app. It has an NTA-style JEE Main exam screen, full-length KCET, NEET and JEE Main presets with their marking schemes, per-student question shuffling and tab-switch strikes. Answers are saved on the device as students work and every attempt is submitted exactly once.

Works on the devices students already have

Webodhi is a progressive web app: students open it in a browser and can install it like an app on Android phones, laptops and desktops. On iPhone and iPad it installs from Safari with Share, then Add to Home Screen. Nothing needs to be downloaded from an app store.

Exam patterns built in

  • KCET: 60 questions per subject (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology), 1 mark per correct answer, no negative marking.
  • NEET: 45 Physics, 45 Chemistry and 90 Biology questions, 180 minutes, +4 for correct and −1 for wrong answers.
  • JEE Main: 25 questions per subject, 180 minutes, +4 / −1.
  • Or set your own: marks per question, negative marks, partial marks, timer and number of attempts.

An NTA-style JEE Main screen

Students practise on a screen that behaves like the NTA computer-based test, with the question palette, Mark for Review and "Answered and Marked for Review" states.

Fair conduct

  • Questions are shuffled per student within each subject, so neighbours do not share a sequence.
  • The exam asks for full screen, and copy, paste and right-click are blocked.
  • Leaving the exam window on a laptop or desktop earns a strike; phones get a warning.
  • Schedule an exam window, publish to the right classes, and release results when you choose.

Nothing is lost

  • Every answer is saved in the browser as it is marked, and checkpointed to the server while online.
  • If a browser crashes or a laptop restarts, the attempt is recovered when the student reopens the test.
  • Each submission carries a stable ID, so retries after a network drop are accepted only once.
  • Answer keys are never sent to student devices.

Questions and answers

Does Webodhi have a JEE Main CBT-style exam interface?

Yes. Webodhi has an NTA-style JEE Main screen with the question palette and Mark for Review states, plus a JEE Main preset of 25 questions per subject, 180 minutes and +4/−1 marking.

Can students take Webodhi tests on mobile phones?

Yes. Webodhi works on Android phones, iPhones, laptops and desktops, and can be installed like an app from the browser.

What happens if the internet drops during an online test?

Answers keep saving on the student's device. When the connection returns the attempt continues, and the submission is accepted exactly once even if it is retried. For exams with no internet at all, use the Webodhi Exam Hub.

How does Webodhi keep online exams fair?

Questions are shuffled per student, the exam runs in full screen with copy, paste and right-click blocked, and leaving the exam window on a laptop earns a strike.
